Alpha
Curious about faith?
What’s Alpha?
Alpha is a relaxed opportunity to sit around a table and dig deeply and freely into the foundational topics of the Christian faith and life. We break it down into 9 weeks of brief teaching on the core beliefs of our faith. Participants share with one another how to have a deeper and more fulfilling walk with Jesus while working through the fundamentals of the faith. So, if you are new to Christ Church, new to the Wesleyan tradition, new to the Christian life then you need to sign up for Alpha here!

What happens at Alpha?
DINNER: The evening begins at 4:00PM with a light meal together, giving people a chance to get to know each other and who doesn’t like food!! Childcare will also be provided.
TALK: The course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith. The video teaching is roughly 20-25 minutes each evening, followed by facilitated table discussion. No one is forced to talk but all are welcome and encouraged to question and share about the evening topic.
SMALL GROUPS: After we talk, we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions, and express opinions. ASK ANYTHING! Alpha is a place where no question is too naïve or too hostile. This is your chance to listen, learn, discuss and discover. We conclude the evening at
6:00PM.
